Children In war Region

by Plamedie Musamba/children and Law department /Amani Kwetu International

Normally, a childhood should be lived in peace and enjoying our childhood but there are things we ignore as children that unfortunately catch up with us and affect our lives, decisions and misunderstandings between adults that often lead us to war. At first we don't care about the situation until we realise the seriousness of things when the bombs explose, bullets crackl, fear invades us, everything seems to be black in our lives, no more school and childish games; the war breaks everything, it demolishes us, on our territory there are children who fled the war on foot more than two or three times. If only humans would understand the meaning of the word breaking childhood is breaking the future of a country, war would never be the ideal way to end a conflict or to impose national and international laws

War breaks these children on an integral level, they have replaced their dreams with the fear of being the next victim, it is as if someone has decided to put the future of the children of East Kivu of the DR Congo under a parenthesis, identity conflicts, sporadic wars and all forms of insecurity are making the news in this part of the country; children are not protected from any danger, this should be a great urgency for the ruling class, restore Peace

we have to take care of leaders of tomorrow
